Pat and Joy are in the County Ladies Un-badged Pairs Area final - update

Well done to Pat and Joy for reaching the final of the County Ladies Area unbadged pairs. The final is to be played at Rainham Bowls Club and should have been played last Monday but was cancelled due to the hot weather, then tomorrow, 25th July, but has been again postponed, this time due to Covid in the opposition camp who are from Kings Chase. When the next new date is known we will advise you. It would be nice for Pat and Joy if as many from the club as possible could go along to support them. If they win this game then there is a "final" final which will be played in Braintree at a date to be advised.

UPDATE - Pay and Joy sadly lost their game against the two ladies from Kings Chase. It appears both teams were unhappy with the condition of the green considering this was a final, but both had to play it and the Kings Chase ladies managed it better on the day. So congratulations to them and commiseration to Pay and Joy, they should be proud however that they reached the area final.
