Clubhouse Hire

Our clubhouse is available for hire to both members and non-members. The maximum number of people we can accommodate in the clubhouse is 60, if you expect more than this at any one time then we are unable to agree to the hire request. Rates for hire at present (Feb 2023) are as follows: -

Full members who are also participating club members: £12.50 per hour.

Non-participating full club members, social members or Non-members: £25 per hour

If the hirer is not a club keyholder then the hire time includes any set-up time (e.g. if the actual hire time is 7pm-11pm (4 hours) but the hirer wants 2 hour prior to setup then the total hire time is 6 hours)

A "full participating member" is any full member who also participates in the sporting activities of the club (playing, coaching, being a match official, first aider, equipment maintainer or being an officer of the club) for at least 12 days per year AND has been a participating member for at least one year.

Our bar can be included at no additional cost and is compulsory if alcoholic beverages are to be consumed on the premises. We do not permit persons hiring to bring their own alcohol (including low alcohol) nor do we, at present, support a corkage fee. Non-alcoholic beverages may however be brought by the hirer or are available from the bar. If the hirer has specific requests then please discuss these with our bar manager, we will try to accommodate these requests but cannot guarantee that these will be possible.

Our bar license runs from midday to 11pm; an extension until midnight can be requested for an additional charge as is enforced by the local licensing authority at the time of hire (currently £21). Application for this is on our clubhouse hire form and will be added to the hire fee.

To apply for hire, please send a message using our contact form stipulating the following: -

  1. Reason for hire
  2. Hire date
  3. Hire times (from and till)
  4. Number of people expected to be present (please note, the maximum comfortable number is 60)
  5. Do you need the use of our bar (compulsory if alcoholic drinks are to be consumed)
  6. Do you need a bar extension (from 2300 to 0000)
  7. Do you need use of the kitchen
  8. Hirer name, address, telephone number and email address.
  9. Do you need setup time (decorations etc.). If you do please indicate how much time (hours) you expect to need and when.
We will then send you a hire form by email for you to sign and return. The hire form lists the conditions of hire, please read these carefully. Once signed please email it to stchadsbc@hotmail.co.uk as an attachment or alternatively print it off, fill it in and bring it to the club. We will respond as soon as possible to let you know if we can accommodate your hire request.


Tip: Please check our fixtures and social events pages as an initial check if the date you require is available. Even if nothing is listed for the date it may still not be possible to accomodate you but you will have a much better chance. If something is listed for your required date then we will not be able to accomodate your request.
