Annual Presentation Meeting 2022

The Presentation evening this year had only 15 people present, an exceptionally low turn-out, It pretty much was only the people who ordered Fish & Chips who came (3 people couldn't come due to illness). Did everyone else misunderstand that the Fish & Chips was optional? This once-a-year evening is principally to honour those who won internal club competitions and other than the winners, only a few other bowlers made the effort to be there and that is really, really disappointing. To those who were present, thank you for coming, we may have been low on numbers, but we were high on spirits and enjoyment. The photo below shows all present (plus Dave Jarrold who took the photo).

For those who were there, the food was very tasty (thank you Dave for organising), and we had fun afterwards with some karaoke when a few people were a total surprise!

Here are a few photos of the internal competition winners, the trophies were presented by our president, John Lizzimore. The winners of the 2-wood pairs, Dave Ball and Jeff Smith were not present.

Lastly, an unexpected award. St Chads won the RALM competition this year (we believe for the first time). Unlike the RAL competition(s) for which there are several trophies, there is nothing to commemorate the RALM winner so in order to recognise our own, we have bought a plaque for the club to keep, and this was presented to Joy Wright and Pat Little.
