Vandalism on the green

Vandalism discovered on 10th July 2015. Persons unknown had, during the evening of the 9th, moved a bench onto the green, had a picnic and then set fire to the picnic packaging and some other material. The damage done could have been a lot worse than it was, the bench was moved back and the debris removed including the use of a hoover to collect the ashes which would otherwise have been difficult to clean up.
